United Way's Hunger Coalition 

United Way's Hunger Coalition works to eliminate food insecurity within our community by taking fresh, healthy produce directly to families in need. YOU can get involved in gathering and preparing farm fresh produce for distribution: 

Each week of the growing season, two local farms based out of Athens, WI provide fresh produce to be boxed and distributed to agencies in Marathon County. Your team will help pack the fresh, organic produce into boxes that can more easily be distributed. 

Turkey Trot 2024

We raised a record $86,000 and had 2,200 participants! We couldn’t have done this without the support of the community and our sponsors. We also saw some creative costumes! All funds raised will go to support the Coalition.

This annual, family event is the largest run and fundraiser for the Coalition. For more than 15 years, community members have supported the work of this nonprofit, by running and walking to give back. To sponsor this event, please contact Amanda Flannery at aflannery@unitedwaymc.org
